Industry Centre of Excellence-Rail (ICoE-Rel) which has been established under the supervision of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) has been fully entrusted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to assist in the transformation of railway transport. UTHM selection by KPM to become a leading rail university through ICoE-Rel is right as the university has the expertise and experience of providing Master of Science in Rail Transport Engineering since 2012. In fact, the offer of Bachelor of Engineering Engineer Technology with Honors proved that UTHM was able to take responsibility. ICoE-Rail is a train training and research center responsible for the collection, analysis, evaluation, and management of data and dissemination of research findings in the field of rails for the use of government and non-governmental agencies in Malaysia. In addition, ICoE-Rail also serves as the premier platform for research and collaboration at national and international levels. Continuous training and post-graduate training are essential for engineering graduates since the involvement of universities-industries serves as a mutually beneficial partnership.
