Energy Management Gold Standards (EMGS) Rating

Description:
UTHM has been awarded with 1 star in Energy Management Gold Standards (EMGS) rating from Green tech Malaysia under sustainability branding; ASEAN Energy Management Scheme (AEMAS) with few improvements. Green activities & sustainability initiatives in the university has been supported by top management especially in approving budgets. Opening meeting of EMGS was chaired by Prof. Ts. Dr. Ruzairi Bin Abdul Rahim Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation). Preparation, review & validation of Sustainable Energy Management work processes, EMGS internal evaluation was done by Energy Management Team from Maintenance and Development Office (PPP) UTHM, which is led by Ts. Shukur Bin Saleh Energy Manager and members of Sustainable Campus Office (SCO). Besides, Energy Manager and team helped in documentation and proceeding of the work process of Sustainable Energy Management in accordance with the policy we already have since February 2019 at UTHM.
