Description:
The Green and Sustainable Energy (GSEnergy) Focus Group in collaboration with Internet of Things (IoT) Focus Group (both from FKEE) have conducted a CSR activity at Sekolah Kebangsaan LKTP Batu 27, Lenga, Muar, Johor. This activity took place on the 11th of February 2020 which involved 38 students from Standard 3 and Standard 4. The activities that were conducted are Introduction to Basic Electrical/Electronic Components, Basic Electricity Measurement, Basic Electric Circuit Connection, Basic Use of Solar Energy and Basic Applications of IoT. The main objective of this activity is to stimulate the students’ interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This activity is headed by Dr. Siti Amely Jumaat (GSEnergy) and Dr. Ariffudin Joret (IoT) with a total number of 15 facilitators (staff and students) from FKEE. FKEE is instrumental in supporting the transformation of comprehensive and systematic education system involving STEM in Johor and this activity is one of them.
