Description:
On 30th September 2019, UTHM delegates led by Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Wahid Razzaly, Vice-Chancellor of UTHM, together with Dr. Shahmir Hayyan Sanusi, Head of International Mobility Department visited Brunel University in London. This visit was a follow-up visit initiated by Associate Professor Dr. Raidi Ibrahim last year, who still has active research collaboration with his former supervisor at Brunel University, Professor Kao Cheng.

UTHM delegates had a fruitful discussion with the members of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, focusing on potential research collaboration and student exchange programs. The delegates had visited a few research facilities within the department which strongly focused on machining and manufacturing.

In conjunction with the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Brunel University, London. This new partnership provides opportunities for UTHM students, academic staff, and researchers to collaborate on certain research projects that will be beneficial for both parties.
