In conjunction with the Career Fair organized by Batu Pahat Maktab Rendah Sains Mara which was held on 29th April 2019, ICT focus group as Enabler (iCAN), Department of Information Technology, Center for Diploma Studies has participated in promoting UTHM to students who will sit for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM ) in 2019. Students attending the exhibition are MRSM students of Batu Pahat and five other schools around Parit Sulong.
The exhibition is aimed at providing information on courses offered at public and private universities, providing information to students about the requirements of the program’s entry and career direction. On that occasion, iCAN’s focus group members introduced the CareInAnalyzer app that had been developed to school students who attended the exhibition.
The CareInAnalytics app is an application based on interest, personality and a tendency assessment that measures one’s self through 180 features. The feature data will be matched accurately to career trends based on the theory of Holland’s career choice. CareInAnalyzer will also match the data to six personality groups introduced by Holland, Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Entrepreneur and Conventional (RIASEC).
